Discover the faces behind the magic and expertise that brightens every occasion. ​Kris always had a passion for cooking, and with an upbringing of a country family filled with bbq and homemakers, an idea was born. Both Kris and Darren grew up cooking with a heavy family influence. For Darren, it all started as an experiment in his free time as a bartender and server. He had the opportunity to learn and play with "out of the box" sushi roll ideas, which led to him to then becoming a sushi chef.
The two first met while they both worked at the Drunken Fish near the ballpark. Darren was a sushi chef and Kris was bartending. “We've been cool ever since,” said Darren.

"We wanted to give a bit of love back to the people!" says Kris.

At The Table, we are more than a team – we are a family devoted to creating moments that last a lifetime.​ The Table, which started in 2022, exists because we wanted to showcase men of color and culture working towards a larger goal. We're JUST getting started.
